Security guards at Port Moresby Golf Club patrol the course with bows and arrows. Some members of the local diplomatic community insist on armed bodyguards accompanying them on their rounds of golf. In the past, so-called 'rascals' have jumped the security fence and held up golfers at gunpoint.
